MIDDLE WEIGHT DESIGNER – 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT – HIGH WYCOMBE, BUCKS
Established since 1991, and designs and produces fun, educational games that are sold in the UK and in over 30 countries around the world.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our creative team. Designing a variety of Board Games you will need to have great eye for details, good illustrations skills, good typesetting skills and sense of fun. The ideal Middle Weight Designer will have a passion for print design.
As a Middle Weight Designer daily duties can vary from drawing a badger to typesetting Russian. You will be utilizing all of your design skills (mostly print by occasionally web) to create amazing fun games for all the family.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – MIDDLE WEIGHT DESIGNER
Key Skills required:
- Excellent in-depth knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop essential, knowledge of wordpress would be an advantage.
- Ability to design workable solutions effectively
- Produce work, sometimes quickly and very precisely to strict deadlines
- Good eye for detail
- A passion for fun with a proactive ‘can-do, will-do’ attitude to be successful and learn
- Ability to work on own initiative, under direction and within a team as appropriate
- Illustrating skills is essential
- Knowledge of commercial print process essential
- Multi-skilled and able to work on different projects at same time
- Minimum 2 years experience with relevant HND or degree qualifications
